Royal Yacht Brittania

We visited the Royal Yacht Brittania at Leith (very close to Edinburgh).

Here is the royal bedroom. Not very impressive. Unfortunately it reminded me of a 80s motel room. I guess if the queen updated her furnishings in all her places, she would get blasted for being extravagent.
This is Prince Phillip's bedroom.


The official places where visitors would come look a lot nicer, such as the dining room and the drawing rooms. But still, somewhat tacky and old.

We all have different tastes though. And if someone offered me a Royal Yacht to live in, I probably wouldn't turn it down.
